That is why all of our websites are built upon a Content Management System (CMS), this allows the website operators to log on from any internet-enabled pc in the world and update any of the content as they see fit.

Most web design companies that offer you Content Managed websites either charge you a small fortune or only allow you to update 1 page. Our websites allow you to change ANY PAGE at ANY TIME, giving you total control to manage your site.

How is this achieved?

The CMS we use is one of the most powerful Open Source Content Management Systems on the planet. It is used all over the world from simple websites to complex corporate applications, as it's:

All of our websites are built upon its framework to give our clients total flexibility when managing their websites.

Being "Open Source" it is completely free, which allows us to pass this saving onto our clients. "Open Source" means that all of the source code that makes up the CMS is freely available, and as such, it has a massive user following with hundreds of developers contributing to it. This has 2 main advantages:

• If you use a CMS that is a propriety system of another company, then if they go out of business, it is likely that the development of their custom CMS will come to a halt too. However, as Joomla! is open source then there is no company behind it, and as such it can never "go bust"!
• As this CMS is not an "in house" product of ours, then if a client decides after we have built their website to use another web developer then the project is entirely portable, allowing total control on our clients part.

There are also hundreds of extensions available to increase its functionality, and you can access these through our Bolt-ons section.

You have access to various options to change the look of your site. However the most useful is the content editor which bears a great resemblence to Microsoft WordŽ which most people who can use a computer should be familiar with.
